Greg Turner threw a shutout to lift the Medicine Hat Mavericks (29-15) to a 3-0 win over the Okotoks Dawgs (30-14) at Seaman Stadium.

Turner held the Okotoks Dawgs scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on four hits while ringing up six.

Liam Stroud brought the heat against the Medicine Hat Mavericks during his outing. The Medicine Hat Mavericks managed just three hits off of Stroud, who allowed one earned run, walked four and struck out four during his six innings of work.

Stroud (1-2) took the loss for the Okotoks Dawgs.
