An outstanding effort by Kody Rock led the Yorkton Cardinals (7-8) to a 4-0 win over the Melville Millionaires (4-9) on Friday at Jubilee Park.

Rock held the Melville Millionaires scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on six hits while striking out six.

Dylan Schneider ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
