The Edmonton Prospects (14-15) beat the Brooks Bombers (6-22) 4-1 on Wednesday at Telus Field behind Kody Funderburk, who went 2-2.

He singled in the first and third innings.

Brenden Wiun put together a nice outing. The Brooks Bombers managed just one hit off of the the Edmonton Prospects' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out six during his five innings of work.

Jordan Hackett pitched lights out for the Brooks Bombers. Hackett gave up just three hits, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two during his five innings of work.

Zachary Campagne (0-3) took the loss for the Brooks Bombers. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
