The Vienna River Dogs (3-5) didn't have a chance on Monday, as the Herndon Braves (4-4) won in blowout fashion, 9-0 at Herndon High School.

An RBI single by William Redding and a three-run double by Bryan Klendworth helped the Herndon Braves score four runs in the sixth. The Herndon Braves had four hits in the inning.

Alan Mocahbee racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Herndon Braves. He homered in the fifth innings and singled in the sixth inning.

Conner Hall had an impressive outing against the Vienna River Dogs' lineup. The Vienna River Dogs managed just two hits off of the the Herndon Braves' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out seven during his five innings of work.

Matthew Kuhlenberg (1-1) took the loss for the Vienna River Dogs. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
