Jimmy Swad kept the Herndon Braves (1-3) off the board during his six innings of work and the Alexandria Aces (3-0) beat the Herndon Braves, 4-2.

Swad struck out six and allowed no walks and three hits.

AJ Spencer racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Alexandria Aces. He singled in the fifth inning and tripled in the eighth inning.

Christopher Lohr brought the heat against the Alexandria Aces during his outing. The Alexandria Aces managed just one hit off of the the Herndon Braves' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his 2 2/3 innings of work.
