The Canada A's (4-1) beat the Bay Area Bootleggers (2-2) 6-2 in seven innings on Tuesday at Palm Springs Stadium behind Kyle Hayman, who went 2-3.

He singled in the second and fourth innings.

Ricky Schafer handled the Bay Area Bootleggers' lineup with ease, racking up six strikeouts. The Canada A's' pitcher tossed four innings of shutout ball and allowed only three hits.

Ben Allison baffled the Canada A's, striking out four batters. The Bay Area Bootleggers' pitcher gave up just five hits over five shutout innings.

Tanner Kiest improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Canada A's. He allowed two runs over three innings. Kiest struck out eight, walked two and gave up one hit.

Zack Zareva (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
