The Toronto Rush (6-4) rolled over the Washington Blue Sox (4-6) 7-1 on Friday at Palm Springs Turf Field after a four-run rally in the fifth inning.

The Toronto Rush scored in the fifth on an RBI single by Marcus Blackmon Jr, an error, an RBI single by Bradley McQuinn, and an error.

The Toronto Rush were led by Shunta Kamoshida's hitting. Kamoshida went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and fifth innings.

Alex Brosnan improved to 3-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Toronto Rush. He allowed one run over four innings. Brosnan struck out two, walked one and gave up two hits.

T.J. Whidby couldn't get it done on the mound for the Washington Blue Sox, taking a loss. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
