A five-run explosion in the fourth inning led the Tacoma (30-11) to an 8-1 win in seven innings over the Centralia (13-25) at Minnitti Field on Friday.
The Tacoma scored in the fourth on a sacrifice fly by Lucas Eliason, a single by Jake Vieth, , a hit by pitch, and a triple by Reed Johnson.
Johnson racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Tacoma.
The Tacoma got the win thanks in large part to Garrett Westberg's dominant, seven-strikeout performance. Westberg allowed one earned run on five hits and no walks over six innings.
Colton Turner couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Centralia, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out none.
