The Edmonds take out the Tacoma with help from Weber, 5-2

Steven Weber drove in four runs as the Edmonds (8-3) took home a 5-2 victory over the Tacoma (8-2) at Triton Field on Friday.

He singled in the first inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Jared Gray pitched lights out for the Edmonds. The Tacoma managed just three hits off of the the Edmonds' pitcher, who allowed two earned runs, walked three and struck out three during his six innings of work.

Garrett Westberg was effective even in defeat, mowing down seven the Edmonds batters and allowing two runs.

Ty Housden racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Tacoma. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the ninth inning.

Nick Johnston got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered two hits.

James Brooks (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
