The Evansville Otters (22-14) and the Florence Freedom (9-25) each put runners in scoring position on Wednesday, but the Evansville Otters capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-3 win at UC Health Stadium.

Chris Breen reached base three times. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Andrew Godbold had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the second and sixth innings.

Hunter Ackerman improved to 3-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Evansville Otters. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked none and surrendered seven hits.

Zach Isler was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked none and struck out three.
