Both the Springfield Sliders (34-20) and the DuPage Drones (32-21) put runners aboard on Tuesday, but it was the Springfield Sliders that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 2-1 win at Robin Roberts Field.

Josh Peterson had an impressive outing against the DuPage Drones' lineup. Peterson held the DuPage Drones hitless over four innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.

Austin Knight (5-2) took the loss for the DuPage Drones. He lasted just six innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
