Danny Sexton hopes every outing could go as well as Saturday, as Sexton struck out 10 batters to carry the Champion City Kings (24-29) to a 4-1 victory over the West Virginia Miners (29-24) at Linda K. Epling Stadium.

Matt Fallon racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Champion City Kings. He singled in the ninth innings.

Austin Goss was effective even in defeat, mowing down six the Champion City Kings batters and allowing two runs.

Goss (3-2) took the loss for the West Virginia Miners.
