The DuPage Drones (31-20) rolled over the Lafayette Aviators 14-1 on Saturday at Loeb Stadium after a nine-run rally in the ninth inning.
The DuPage Drones scored in the ninth on an error, an error, a two-run single by Aaron Meyer, a two-run triple by Tyler Miller, an RBI single by Richie Gorski, a wild pitch, an RBI single by Will Farmer, and a wild pitch.
Meyer racked up three RBIs on four hits for the DuPage Drones.
Keven Long struck out 10 hitters en route to the the DuPage Drones win. Long allowed one earned run, four hits and four walks over five innings.
Skyler Harrison (1-7) took the loss for the Lafayette Aviators (26-28). He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out eight, and allowed five runs.
