Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the Springfield Sliders (31-18) outscored the Danville Dans (29-20) 10-8.

The teams totaled 21 hits in the game.

Quintin Crandall reached base three times. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third innings.

Peter Young pitched lights out for the Springfield Sliders. The Danville Dans managed just two hits off of the the Springfield Sliders' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his three innings of work.

Wright Hackett went a perfect 2-2 at the dish for the Danville Dans. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Jake Davis (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
