A two-run single by Anthony Ayala delivered the runs in the ninth. The West Virginia Miners had two hits in the inning.

Dan Ward was solid at the plate for the West Virginia Miners. Ward went 4-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first, fourth, sixth, and eighth innings.

Jacob Belinda picked up the win for the West Virginia Miners. Belinda pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks while striking out five.

Pavin Parks was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
