The Quincy Gems (20-25) didn't put up much of a fight on Wednesday, as the Kokomo Jackrabbits (23-21) cruised to a blowout 6-0 win at Kokomo Municipal Stadium.

The Kokomo Jackrabbits scored three runs in the fifth on the Kokomo Jackrabbits scored in the fifth on a two-run single by Mitch Stoltzfus and a groundout by Alex Del Rio.

It was a good day at the plate for the Kokomo Jackrabbits' Del Rio. Del Rio went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run.

The Quincy Gems couldn't get anything going so long as Parker Sanburn was on the hill. Sanburn held the Quincy Gems hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out five.

Chris Amato got the win, running his season record to 1-0. Amato struck out one, walked none and gave up four hits.

Cameron Sanders couldn't get it done on the hill for the Quincy Gems, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out six, and allowed four runs.
