The Chillicothe Paints (20-24) built an early edge on Tuesday, but the Terre Haute Rex (28-16) roared back to steal a 3-2 victory at Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stad.

An error gave the Terre Haute Rex the lead in the fifth inning.

The Terre Haute Rex relied on Damian Helm to eat up innings en route to the win. Helm pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, five hits and no walks while striking out one.

Brendan Burns (4-2) took the loss for the Chillicothe Paints. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
