Coward allows no runs to lead the Butler BlueSox past the Champion City Kings 3-2

Connor Coward kept the Champion City Kings (16-26) off the board during his six innings of work and the Butler BlueSox (20-23) beat the Champion City Kings, 3-2.

Coward allowed three hits, one walk and struck out six.

Jamie Switalski had a hot bat for the Butler BlueSox. Switalski went 3-4 and scored two runs. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Matthew Furuto racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Champion City Kings. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the eighth inning.

Kyle Zurak improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Butler BlueSox. Zurak struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.

Conor Grove (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run.
