Bryan Ayers held the Kokomo Jackrabbits (21-20) scoreless for six innings to boost the Danville Dans (24-18) to a 5-0 victory.

Ayers allowed four hits, no walks and struck out 11.

Wright Hackett paced the Danville Dans at the plate. Hackett went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Evan Lovick ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
