The DuPage Drones (21-19) built an early edge on Sunday, but the Springfield Sliders (25-14) roared back to steal a 7-3 victory at Benedictine Sports Complex.

An error gave the Springfield Sliders the lead in the fourth inning.

Quintin Crandall racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Springfield Sliders. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the eighth and ninth innings.

The DuPage Drones' lineup had no answer for Brad Dubow. The DuPage Drones managed just three hits off of the the Springfield Sliders' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his 4 2/3 innings of work.

It was a good day at the plate for the DuPage Drones' Joseph Vyskocil. Vyskocil went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the third inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Zack Thomas (1-2) took the loss for the DuPage Drones. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run.
