Jeff Houghtby went 4-4 at the plate as the Danville Dans (20-18) took home a 5-2 victory over the DuPage Drones (21-17) at Benedictine Sports Complex on Friday.

He tripled in the fourth inning, singled in the second and seventh innings, and doubled in the eighth inning.

Casey Sullivan put together a nice outing. Sullivan held the DuPage Drones hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Jake Davis recorded his second win of the year for the Danville Dans. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered three hits.

Brent Mattson (3-1) took the loss for the DuPage Drones. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
