Aaron Meyer had two extra base hits, sparking the DuPage Drones (24-19) to a 10-7 victory over the Danville Dans (26-19) on Thursday at Danville Stadium.

Josh Smith racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Danville Dans. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the second and sixth innings.

Kyle Kilbourne improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the DuPage Drones. Kilbourne struck out one, walked none and gave up two hits.

Grant Mayeaux couldn't get it done on the hill for the Danville Dans, taking a loss. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out seven, and allowed three runs.

Meyer, Will Farmer, Jake Schieber and Jake Anchia helped lead the DuPage Drones. They combined for 11 hits and eight RBIs.
