Six first-inning runs helped the Kokomo Jackrabbits (19-15) to a 6-2 win over the Danville Dans (17-17) at Kokomo Municipal Stadium on Sunday.

The Kokomo Jackrabbits scored in the first on an RBI single by Connor Dall, an RBI single by Dall, , a two-run single by Chris Amato, and an RBI single by Griffin Harms.

The Danville Dans' lineup had no answer for Trey Bickel. The Danville Dans managed just one hit off of the the Kokomo Jackrabbits' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out none during his three innings of work.

Josh Smith led the Danville Dans' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He singled in the first and second innings.

Nick Floyd improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Kokomo Jackrabbits. He allowed two runs over five innings. Floyd struck out three, walked two and gave up five hits.

Ricky Karcher couldn't get it done on the mound for the Danville Dans, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in one inning, walked three and struck out none.
