Switalski leads the Butler BlueSox to 10-5 victory

Jamie Switalski was strong at the plate and on the rubber in carrying the Butler BlueSox (16-17) to a 10-5 victory over the Champion City Kings on Saturday at Davidson Stadium.

Switalski racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Butler BlueSox. He singled in the first inning and tripled in the fifth inning.

Switalski had an impressive outing against the Champion City Kings (12-21)'s lineup. Switalski held the Champion City Kings hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Matthew Furuto got on base three times in the game for the Champion City Kings. He singled in the second inning.

Pavin Parks recorded his sixth win of the year for the Butler BlueSox. He allowed four runs over five innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Zane Collins (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
