A walk-off single from Quintin Crandall brought home the winning run for the Springfield Sliders (15-13) in a 4-3 victory over the Danville Dans at Robin Roberts Field on Sunday.
Crandall reached base four times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and ninth innings.
Jake Roehn recorded his third win of the year for the Springfield Sliders. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.
Brian Allec (3-2) took the loss for the Danville Dans (15-12). He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
