Eric Willis went 2-5, helping the Lafayette Aviators (17-15) to an 11-7 victory over the Quincy Gems (18-15) on Saturday at Quincy Stadium.

Alex Naiser brought the heat against the Quincy Gems during his outing. The Quincy Gems managed just one hit off of Naiser, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Jake Walters had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the third and seventh innings and singled in the ninth inning.

Elvin Ramos had an impressive outing against the Lafayette Aviators' lineup. Ramos held the Lafayette Aviators hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Skyler Harrison improved to 1-4 on the year by picking up the win for the Lafayette Aviators. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out six, walked two and surrendered six hits.

Cameron Sanders (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked six and struck out none.
