Colton Neel handled the DuPage Drones' lineup with ease, racking up eight strikeouts. The Springfield Sliders' pitcher tossed 3 2/3 innings of shutout ball and allowed only two hits.
Jake Roehn recorded his second win of the year for the Springfield Sliders. He struck out six, walked two and surrendered no hits.
Sean Frontzak was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
