Tuesday was a great day for Mike Anthony, as Anthony tossed a shutout to carry the Kokomo Jackrabbits (11-12) to a 4-0 victory over the Springfield Sliders (12-11) at Kokomo Municipal Stadium.

Anthony held the Springfield Sliders scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on two hits while ringing up five.

Ryan Hutchinson got on base three times in the game for the Kokomo Jackrabbits. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the second and sixth innings.

Brock Immke (2-1) took the loss for the Springfield Sliders. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
