Michael Klein hopes every outing could go as well as Tuesday, as Klein tossed six scoreless innings to carry the Terre Haute Rex (13-10) to a 4-1 victory over the Quincy Gems (13-11) at Bob Warn Field in 10 innings.

Jake Haberer baffled the Terre Haute Rex, striking out 12 batters. The Quincy Gems' pitcher gave up just three hits over six shutout innings.

A walk-off three-run home run by Andy De Jesus gave the Terre Haute Rex the win.

De Jesus racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Terre Haute Rex. He singled in the ninth inning and homered in the tenth inning.

Thomas Waning improved to 3-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Terre Haute Rex. Waning struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.

Luke Burton ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
