The Danville Dans (11-7) and the Butler BlueSox (11-9) each put runners in scoring position on Friday, but the Danville Dans capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 3-2 win at Kelly Automotive Park.

Brian Allec recorded his second win of the year for the Danville Dans. Allec struck out one, walked none and gave up two hits.

David Calderon (2-1) took the loss for the Butler BlueSox. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked seven, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
