The DuPage Drones (11-9) took home an 11-5 victory over the Hannibal Cavemen (7-13) on Friday at Clemens Field, fueled by four runs in the second inning.

The DuPage Drones scored in the second on an error, a two-run double by Brad Hartman, and an RBI single by Matt Elliott.

Hartman racked up four RBIs on three hits for the DuPage Drones.

Ed Reichenbach racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Hannibal Cavemen. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Francisco Rivas brought the heat against the DuPage Drones during his outing. Rivas held the DuPage Drones hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three.

Jon Laird improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the DuPage Drones. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out four, walked four and surrendered five hits.

Drew Flatford was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked one and struck out two.
