Keanan Locke went 2-3, sparking the West Virginia Miners (8-8) to a 4-1 victory over the Champion City Kings (5-11) on Sunday at Linda K. Epling Stadium.

Jacob Belinda struck out 11, paving the way for a the West Virginia Miners win. Belinda allowed one earned run on three hits and four walks over six innings.

Matthew Furuto led the Champion City Kings' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the sixth innings.

Andrew McDonald allowed three earned runs, six hits and one walk while striking out four over seven innings of work.
