Michael Houdek kept the West Virginia Miners (7-7) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Chillicothe Paints (4-9) beat the West Virginia Miners, 10-0.

Houdek struck out five and allowed one walk and four hits.

The Chillicothe Paints blew out the West Virginia Miners thanks to eight hits, including zero extra base hits. The Chillicothe Paints scored four runs in the third on the Chillicothe Paints scored in the third on an RBI single by Stewart Nelson, a two-run double by Nicholas Ryan, and a sacrifice fly by Jesse Forestell.

Jamie Lackner racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Chillicothe Paints. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Clyde Yoder couldn't get it done on the rubber for the West Virginia Miners, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked one and struck out one.
