The Kokomo Jackrabbits (8-6) beat the Springfield Sliders (7-5) 6-5 on Friday at Kokomo Municipal Stadium behind Logan Barnes, who had two extra base hits.

The Springfield Sliders' lineup had no answer for Trey Bickel. Bickel held the Springfield Sliders hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two.

Sam Hubbe recorded his second win of the year for the Kokomo Jackrabbits. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Jacob Thiessen was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed no runs.

The Kokomo Jackrabbits were sparked by Barnes and Ryan Hutchinson, who teamed up for three hits and four RBIs.
