Andrew Curran went 3-3 at the plate as the Danville Dans (6-4) took home a 3-2 victory over the Hannibal Cavemen (3-8) at Danville Stadium on Wednesday.
He singled in the first and fifth innings and doubled in the seventh inning.The Hannibal Cavemen couldn't get anything going so long as Trent Johnson was on the hill. The Hannibal Cavemen managed just two hits off of the the Danville Dans' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out four during his six innings of work.
Ed Reichenbach racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Hannibal Cavemen. He homered in the sixth inning.
Jake Davis recorded his first win of the year for the Danville Dans. Davis struck out four, walked one and gave up one hit.
