Will Schneider went 2-4, sparking the Butler BlueSox (7-5) to a 3-2 victory over the Champion City Kings (4-7) on Tuesday at Davidson Stadium.

He singled in the first and eighth innings.

The Champion City Kings couldn't get anything going as long as Dillon Sunnafrank was pitching. The Champion City Kings managed just two hits off of the the Butler BlueSox's pitcher, who allowed two earned runs, walked one and struck out seven during his seven innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Champion City Kings' Danny Sexton dominated the Butler BlueSox's batters, giving up one run and striking out seven.

Taylor Kopplin ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
