David Calderon kept the Champion City Kings (2-6) off the board during his six innings of work and the Butler BlueSox (5-3) beat the Champion City Kings, 5-3.

Calderon allowed five hits, one walk and struck out six.

It was a good day at the plate for the Butler BlueSox's Will Schneider. Schneider went 3-4, drove in one and scored one run. He tripled in the fourth innings and singled in the fifth inning.

Jordan Norton couldn't get it done on the mound for the Champion City Kings, taking a loss. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
