William Elliott went 1-4, helping the Springfield Sliders (3-2) to a 7-6 victory over the Kokomo Jackrabbits (2-4) on Wednesday at Robin Roberts Field.

Brock Immke got the win for the Springfield Sliders thanks to six strikeouts. Immke allowed no earned runs on five hits and two walks over six innings.

Lance Mayes was solid at the plate for the Kokomo Jackrabbits. Mayes went 3-5 and scored three runs. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and eighth innings.

Nick Floyd brought the heat against the Springfield Sliders during his outing. Floyd gave up just three hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his three innings of work.

Parker Sanburn (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
