The River City Rascals (17-11) put in a full day's work in a 10-inning, 3-2 win over the Normal CornBelters (11-17) Sunday at The Corn Crib.

With the score tied at two in the tenth inning, reached on an error, scoring Robby Enslen.

Griff Gordon was hot from the plate for the River City Rascals. Gordon went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the seventh inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Jason Ziegler allowed one earned run, four hits and no walks while striking out three over six innings of work.

Nolan Meadows racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Normal CornBelters. He singled in the third inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Michael Gunn got the win, running his season record to 2-0. Gunn struck out one, walked none and gave up no hits.

Race Parmenter (1-1) took the loss for the Normal CornBelters. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
