Ricky Rodriguez went 1-2 and hit a home run, sparking the Washington Wild Things (15-13) to a 10-6 victory over the Joliet Slammers (16-14) on Wednesday at CONSOL Energy Park.

Hunter Ridge racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Joliet Slammers. He singled in the second inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Kolin Stanley improved to 2-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Washington Wild Things. He allowed two runs over one inning. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Brent Choban (3-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
