The Evansville Otters (13-7) and the Washington Wild Things (9-9) each put runners in scoring position on Friday, but the Evansville Otters capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 3-2 win at CONSOL Energy Park.

Josh Allen had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the first inning, homered in the fourth inning, and doubled in the eighth inning.

Alex McKeon paced the Washington Wild Things at the plate. McKeon went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.

Shane Weedman improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Evansville Otters. Weedman struck out one, walked two and gave up two hits.

Kolin Stanley (0-1) took the loss for the Washington Wild Things. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
