Mike Jurgella had three RBIs, sparking the River City Rascals (6-4) to an 8-4 victory in seven innings over the Evansville Otters (6-5) on Wednesday at CarShield Field.

Dane Phillips went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Evansville Otters. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and fifth innings.

Nick Kennedy got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Ken Frosch ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
