Will Kengor went 1-3 and hit a home run, helping the Traverse City Beach Bums (3-6) to a 3-1 victory over the Washington Wild Things (4-5) on Wednesday at CONSOL Energy Park.

Jacob Lanning picked up the win for the Traverse City Beach Bums. Lanning pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk while striking out one.

David Popkins had a hot bat for the Washington Wild Things. Popkins went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Trevor Foss (1-2) took the loss for the Washington Wild Things. He lasted just seven innings, walked none, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
