Norris' walk-off single send the Lake Erie Crushers home winners, 5-4

A walk-off single from Parker Norris brought home the winning run for the Lake Erie Crushers (3-0) in a 5-4 victory over the Schaumburg Boomers in 11 innings at All Pro Freight Stadium on Tuesday.

Norris racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Lake Erie Crushers. He tripled in the fourth inning and singled in the eleventh inning.

Mike Devine pitched lights out for the Lake Erie Crushers. The Schaumburg Boomers (1-3) managed just one hit off of Devine, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his four innings of work.

Todd Kibby improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lake Erie Crushers. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Dexter Price ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
