The Gateway Grizzlies (1-1) pounded the Washington Wild Things (1-1) on Saturday 10-3 at GCS Ballpark.

An RBI double by Cody Livesay and a three-run home run by Craig Massoni helped the Gateway Grizzlies score four runs in the fourth. The Gateway Grizzlies had three hits in the inning.

Vincent Guglietti racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Gateway Grizzlies. He doubled in the third innings and homered in the sixth inning.

Will Landsheft had an impressive outing against the Washington Wild Things' lineup. Landsheft gave up just three hits, allowed one earned run, walked four and struck out five during his six innings of work.

Bryan Haar racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Washington Wild Things. He homered in the eighth inning.

Conner Kendrick ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
