Noah Jones held the Lorain County Ironmen (9-10) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Xenia Scouts (11-6) to a 2-0 victory.

Jones struck out three and allowed no walks and three hits.

Despite the loss, the Lorain County Ironmen's Mark Mittiga dominated the Xenia Scouts' batters, giving up two runs and striking out five.

Mittiga was charged with his first loss of the year.
