He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.Cameron Ross brought the heat against the Cincinnati Steam during his outing. Ross held the Cincinnati Steam hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.
Darien Smith improved to 4-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Hamilton Joes. He allowed one run over five innings. He struck out five, walked three and surrendered four hits.
Daron Bowling (3-3) took the loss for the Cincinnati Steam. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
