The Xenia Scouts (3-4) didn't put up much of a fight on Monday, as the Hamilton Joes (7-1) cruised to a blowout 9-2 win at Foundation Field.

The Hamilton Joes scored two runs in the sixth on the Hamilton Joes scored in the sixth on an RBI single by Jackson Boyce and an RBI single by Tyler Thamann.

The Hamilton Joes were led by Jake Murray's hitting. Murray went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.

Chris Gonnelli had an impressive outing against the Xenia Scouts' lineup. The Xenia Scouts managed just two hits off of the the Hamilton Joes' pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out two during his five innings of work.

William Kruse (0-2) took the loss for the Xenia Scouts. He allowed six runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out two.
