Jake Richmond boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Cincinnati Steam. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.

John Troll allowed one earned run, six hits and four walks while striking out one over seven innings of work.

Troll ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his sixth loss of the year.
