The Licking County Settlers (16-14) and the Cincinnati Steam (16-14) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Licking County Settlers that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 10-7 win at McLeary Fld (Western Hills HS).

The Licking County Settlers were led by Kyle Hubbuch's hitting. Hubbuch went 4-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fourth, fifth, and ninth innings.

Kyle Dockus went a perfect 4-4 at the plate for the Cincinnati Steam. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the first, fourth, and seventh innings.

Michael Flax improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Licking County Settlers. Flax struck out one, walked none and gave up two hits.

Daron Bowling (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
